Charlie was born to the late Rueben Henry and Cordia Mae Mason Boyce, June 15, 1928, in Vansickle Community, Texas. Charlie graduated from Caddo Mills High School in 1946. He married Juanna Lou Robinson on November 2, 1947, and they lived together first in Dallas, Texas, then in Greenville, Texas for twenty-eight years before relocating to Lampasas in 1975. Charlie was first and foremost a loving husband and father to his children and Grandad to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He had a passion for hunting and shared that passion with all of his family. Over the years, Charlie owned his own sheet metal businesses and after retiring from that business, he went to work for the Lampasas ISD bus barn to support his passion for hunting, where he retired for a second time. He was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ and spent many years in various roles such as Deacon and Elder supporting the church.
