William Gayle Lang

William Gayle Lang, 84 of Lampasas, Texas died Sunday November 25, 2018 at Lampasas Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Gayle was born April 15, 1934 in Temple, Texas the son of Otto William Lang and Florence Wanda (Howard) Lang. He grew up in Lampasas and helped in the family business Lang’s Minimax, a local grocery store for many years. After the business closed, Gayle used his photography talent and began working for the Lampasas Dispatch Record. He was dedicated to his work and his family. He married Lois M. Hill August 26, 1958. He is survived by his wife, Lois Lang of Lampasas Son, Daniel G. Lang (Barbara) of Cary, NC Grandson, Jordan Lang of San Francisco, CA   Gayle was preceded in death by his parents, by brother Paul Lang.   A memorial service will be held Monday December 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Gayle’s body will be cremated. Memorials may be sent to Cooper Springs Nature Park.
