Vickie Langford

Vickie Langford, age 63 of Waco, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017 in Katy.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 15, 2017 at Scott's Funeral Home of Copperas Cove.  Burial will follow at Gillum Cemetery in Oakalla.

Vickie was born on Dec. 19, 1953 in Killeen.  She grew up in Killeen and graduated from Bryan High School in 1972.  She has resided in Waco since 1980 and worked for Edward Jones as the Branch Office Administrator in Woodway.  She was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church in Waco.

She was preceded in death by her father, Keith Langford in 2002.

Vickie is survived by her mother, Wanda Langford of Oakalla; daughters, Amy Roberts and husband, Torrey of Katy, Christie Morris and husband, Sam of Katy, Julie Whitt of Waco; son, David Lorenzen of Humble; sister, Leslie Thompson and husband, Bryan of Pilot Point; brother, Darrell Langford of Austin; ten grandchildren, Brandon, Tyler, Mason, Cooper, Noah, Caleb, Abigail, Hannah, Emma and Allan.

Vickie loved country music, watching sports, and spending time with her grandchildren.  She was always smiling and had a laugh that could fill the room.  She loved her friends and family with all her heart.  Her spirit will continue to live on in all of our memories.
