Vance Helzer

Vance Helzer, age 24, of Kempner passed away on Monday, September 16, 2019. Visitation will be held from 4-6 PM, Tuesday, September 24, 2019, at Scott's Funeral Home of Copperas Cove. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Copperas Cove.

Vance was born on March 21, 1995, in Flint, Michigan to Vance Andrew and Susan Wilcox Helzer. He attended school in Lampasas. Vance loved the outdoors and would go fishing any chance he had. His art was a big part of who he was. Vance loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them.

Vance is survived by his son, Christian; parents, Vance and Susan Helzer; siblings, Lacy Collins, James Heyworth, Holly Heyworth, Mathew Heyworth, Joseph Heyworth, Chelsie Helzer, Carrie Helzer, Elijah Helzer, Isaac Helzer, and Jeremiah Helzer; grandparents, Jim and Linda Helzer, Linda Schell and Peggy Koryciak. Vance is also survived by a special uncle, James Hamric and many other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
