Trudy Tyler

Ina Trudy Tyler, 96 of Lampasas, TX died September 16, 2019 at Advent Health Lampasas. She was born April 17, 1923 in Huntoon, TX to parents John Houston Lawson and Mary Estella (Emberson) Lawson. After graduating from High School she attended University of Arizona. She married R.D. Tyler and he preceded her in death. Trudy worked for Texas Department of Transportation in Dallas. She and R.D. moved to Rockport after they retired for a few years and then settled in Lampasas in the early 1990’s. She was a member of First Baptist Church, WMU, Dorcas Sunday School Class, worked at the Lampasas Mission and played the organ for several local churches. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.   She was preceded in death by 9 siblings.   Graveside funeral will be Friday September 20, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery.
