Troy Trueblood

Troy Linn Trueblood, 47, passed away on October 9, 2024, at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Temple, TX.  He was born on February 18, 1977, in Austin, TX to Mary (Trueblood) Harmon and Roy Trueblood.

Troy grew up in Lampasas, TX.  He served Central Texas as the owner and operator of Word of Mouth Roofing for 30 years.

Troy married Chrystal Gayle Rhoades in Lampasas, TX on November 11, 2011.  They were happily married for 13 years.  They raised three boys together and operated his business with his eldest son.

Troy was preceded in death by his father, Roy Trueblood, his mother and father-in-law, Debbie and Frank Bristow, his sister-in-law, Margie Marie Rhoades and his nephew, Nathaniel Anderson.

Troy is survived by his spouse, Chrystal Rhoades of Copperas Cove, TX; his sons, Darion Trublood of Copperas Cove, TX, Tyler Trueblood of Las Vegas, NV, David Trueblood of Copperas Cove, TX, Joseph Wheeler of Lampasas, TX, Ronnie and McKalynn Taylor of Harker Heights, TX, of which he has five grandchildren; his mother, Mary Harmon of Lampasas, TX, his brother, Lance and Angela Taylor of Lampasas, TX; his nieces and nephews, Amber and Kendrick White, Jennifer Taylor, Crystal and Garrett Fox, and Mason Chance Taylor; his great-nieces and nephews, James Beavers, Rene Beavers, Autumn Beavers, Willow White, Rowen White and Orien Fox; his father-in-law, Rocky Rhoades of Bruceville-Eddy, TX; his father/mentor, Joe Tredwell of Lampasas, TX; his sisters-in-law, Rhonda Vickery of Katy, TX, Rockcie and Rick Barker of Fayetteville, NC, Amanda Rhoades and Cody Connor of Bruceville-Eddy, TX, Christi Kukia or Bruceville-Eddy, TX; his chosen family: brother and sister, J.R. and Hollie Carte of Blum, TX and a wide network of friends and family.
