Traudl Greene

Traudl Greene, age 78, of Copperas Cove, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2017, in Copperas Cove. A small family gathering will be scheduled at a later date.
Traudl was born on March 31, 1939, to the late Edgar and Sonntag Kistner. She grew up in Germany with her parents and sister, Dagmar. She became a United States citizen, in 1970, after moving to California with her husband. She was an assistant shift leader at Hernandez Enterprises, in Fort Hood, Texas, for a number years before leaving due to health concerns. In her later life, Traudl found joy in doing yard work and attending services at First Baptist Church in Copperas Cove, Texas. She was a loving and loyal mother to her children and held her friends close to her heart.
Traudl was preceded in death by her parents.
Traudl is survived by her sister, Dagmar and her family in Germany. She is also survived by her close friends, Tomasa Steans and her family and Gloria Sifuentes and her family.
