Toribio Perez

Toribio Perez, Jr., Toby (as known to his family and friends) passed away on January 3, 2024, after a short illness.  He was born on June 30, 1949, to Toribio Perez, Sr., and Francisca D. Perez of Woodsboro, TX.  He was a hard worker with a kind heart.  He was a jack of all trades and loved to barbecue and spend time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Perez of Waller, TX, his parents of Woodsboro, TX, and a sister, Dora Perez of Woodsboro, TX.

Toby is survived by his wife Sallie R. Perez of Watson, TX; sons, Ray Lee Perez of El Paso, TX, and Matthew Perez of San Antonio, TX; daughter, Stephanie Perez of Arrington, TN; stepdaughter, Jessica Robledo of Burnet, TX; his sisters, Teresa Tapia and Olga Tanguma of Woodsboro, TX, and Mary Lou Avila of Kempner, TX; his brothers, Arturo Perez and Richard Perez of Refugio, TX, Albert Perez and Jose Perez of Woodsboro; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends and will especially be missed by his beloved dog, Pokey.
