Terry Lee Creek

Terry Lee Creek, 69, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Lampasas Nursing and Rehab in Lampasas, Texas. He was born on August 8, 1952, in Coleman, Texas to Durwood Creek and Louise Brown Martin. Graveside services will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas, Texas on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 2 pm. Terry grew up in Brownwood, Texas, and graduated from Brownwood High School in 1970. After high school, he attended Howard Payne University where he received a bachelor's degree in accounting in 1977. He joined the United States Air Force in 1972, then transitioned to the Texas Air National Guard in 1973 to complete his service. He began working in the trucking industry early in his adult life, eventually taking over his father's company, Seal Creek Trucking. In 2011 he went to work with his son, at Max Mahan Company and retired in September 2021. He loved spending time on the road driving the miles and miles of the interstates and highways across the country in a semi-truck. He enjoyed playing dominoes, fishing, hunting, time at the beach, and spending time with his kids and grandkids. Terry was preceded in death by his father, Durwood Creek; his mother, Louise Brown Martin and his step-mothers, Connie and Wynell Creek. Survivors include his step-father, Carlis Martin; his daughters, Shanna (Craig) Jacobson, of Leander, Texas, Tonya (Bradley) Andrews of Lampasas, Texas, and son, Matthew (Tamsyn) Creek of Lampasas, Texas; his brother, Tommy (Bernice) Creek, of Livingston, Texas; brother, Travis (Annita) Creek of Whitehouse, Texas; grandchildren, Meagan (Dylan) Person, Courtney Jacobson, Austin Andrews, Madisyn Creek, Braxten Andrews, and Taylor Creek as well as his nieces, nephews and other relatives and loved ones.
