Tanja Angelita Jordan, age 38 of Kempner, passed away on October 2, 2013 at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Grace United Methodist Church in Copperas Cove. Interment will follow at 12:00 noon at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
Tanja was born on January 24, 1975 in Germany. She served in the US Navy from 1997 to 2003. She was currently a civil service employee at Ft. Hood as an E.M.T. She was a Methodist and member of the Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile. She had an infectious laugh and a passion for the Renaissance. She loved life and the most important thing in her life was being with her daughter, Alexis.
She is survived by her parents, Robert and Elgin Henke; fiancée Bobby Lavigne; daughter, Alexis; brother, Valerio Henke and wife Heidi.
