Tammye Lew Shipp

Tammye Lew Shipp, 59 of Lometa, TX died Wednesday June 20, 2018 at her home. She was born March 6, 1959 in San Saba, TX to Lewis C. Waldon and Betty J. (McLeod) Waldon. Tammye grew up in Pontotoc and graduated from Mason High School. She later earned her nursing degree from Howard College in Brownwood. She served as director of nurses at Hill Country Memorial Surgery Center in Marble Falls for 12 years. Tammye was very caring and generous. She loved to shop and hunt, especially mule deer. She was a member of Lometa Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, Randy Shipp 2 sons; Coby Pimm and T J Shipp 3 daughters; Jacy Roemer, Stephanie Watson and Miranda Tankersley Brother, Frankie Crouch Numerous grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild also survive.   She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Jimmy Yarbrough and by father-in-law, Al Shipp.   Funeral service will be Saturday June 23, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Lometa Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Senterfitt Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday June 22, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be sent to the Senterfitt or Pontotoc Cemetery Associations.
