Sylvia Kessler

Sylvia E. Kessler, 87, of Copperas Cove passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2016 in Copperas Cove. Memorial Graveside will be held at 3 PM onThursday, January 28, 2016 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
Sylvia was born on March 16, 1928 to the late Clarence and Emma Webber Wears in Columbus, Ohio. She attended school in Columbus before marrying Robert R. Kessler on June 9, 1945 after he served in the United States Navy. Later in life, they moved to Florida to be closer to family. While there they owned and operated a nursery and a lawn care business for over 30 years. After retiring in late 2005, they moved to Copperas Cove to be closer to their daughters and grandchildren.
Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and her son, Ricky Lee Kessler.
Sylvia is survived by her daughters, Christina Dangerfield and husband, Douglas, Lisa Griffin and husband; Gene; grandchildren, Heather Dangerfield, Trisha Dangerfield, Hiedi Luna, Shawn Kessler, Clinton Griffin and 7 great grandchildren.
