Sylvano C. Sanchez

Sylvano C. Sanchez, 91 of Lampasas, TX died Tuesday June 5, 2018 at his home. He was born May 4, 1927 in Burnet, TX the son of Abraham Sanchez and Sebera (Castillo) Sanchez. He had been a resident of Lampasas all his life. He married Eluteria Torres and she preceded him in death. Sylvano was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lampasas. He was retired from the City of Lampasas Parks Department. He had helped build parts of the original nine holes at Hancock Park Golf Course and the adjoining springs at the pool. Sylvano was an avid gardener. He is survived by these children; Rose Quenomoen (Bob), Maria Sunberg (Allan), Mary Lou Plumley (Shane), Victoria Purser (Rick), Dora Davila (Lonnie), Sandy Amador (Xavier), Dolores Gonzales (David), Sophia Lerma, Elaine Sanchez, Henry Sanchez, Sylvano Sanchez Jr., Richard Sanchez, Jeremiah Sanchez, Joey Sanchez Lerma. 116 grandchildren, numerous great and great-great grandchildren also.     Sylvano was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, sons; Robert T. Sanchez, Daniel Sanchez and Johnny Sanchez, by daughters; Sylvia Sanchez and Sandra Lerma, by brothers; Andrew Sanchez, Fred Sanchez, by sisters; Elizabeth Barton, Nikki Elliott and Doloro Sanchez.   Funeral mass will be Saturday June 9, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Rosary will be recited Friday June 8, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel.
