Sulynn Elliott Bledsoe, 74, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025, at her home in Lampasas, Texas. She was born on May 1, 1950, in Odessa, Texas to Jimmie Franklin and Peggy Hale Elliott.
Memorial Services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel Lampasas on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 2 pm with visitation an hour prior.
Sulynn grew up in Iraan, Texas. She graduated from Iraan High School in Iraan, Texas in 1968. After high school, she attended Texas A&I and the University of Texas at Arlington. She raised her family then began working as a substitute teacher, then for Bank of America, and ended her career as a business owner and operator. She volunteered within the church and her community. She loved being active in the community, playing games with family and friends, and spending time with her family. Sulynn married Bill Bledsoe in 1970 in Iraan, Texas and they were happily married for 55 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandchildren, Emma and Camden Bledsoe, her niece, Danielle Elliott, and her brothers-in-law, Chuck Eaton and Tim Tinsley.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Bledsoe of Lampasas, TX; her children, Lance (Tricia) Bledsoe of Bryan, TX, and Rebecca (Cole) Petty of Tyler, TX; her siblings, Travis (Blanche) Elliott of Austin, TX, Laura Tinsley of Chattanooga, TN, and Daniel (Kenna) Elliott of Arlington, TX; her grandson, Colton (Kaitlyn) Bledsoe; great-grandson, Cinch Ryder Bledsoe; her nieces and nephews, Karissa Johnson, Cassie McConkey, Mikah Roberts, Rachel Elliott, Kimbra Gibbs, and Josh Elliott.
