Sherri Jo Roye

Sherri Jo Roye, 59, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 15, 2020, at Sneed Funeral Chapel. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2020, at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Sherri Jo was born on April 25, 1961, in Lampasas, Texas to Travis Vance Roye and Vivian Gertrude Campbell. She grew up in Adamsville, Texas, and attended school in Lampasas, Texas. She was a member of School Creek Baptist Church and loved to volunteer at the Agape Thrift Store in Evant, Texas. Sherri Jo was also a joy to many as a greeter at B3 Cleaners in Evant. Sherri Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Travis Vance Roye and Vivian Gertrude Campbell, as well as her brother, Bobbie James Roye. Survivors include her sister, Anita Hyatt of Adamsville, Texas; nieces, Rhonda Belanger, and husband, Shane, Amber Edwards and husband, Boyce, Misty Hamilton and husband, James; nephews, Travis Blakley, Heath Roye; great-nieces, Hannah Edwards, Faith Edwards, Heather Belanger, Harley Blakley; great-nephews, Tate Blakley, and Rankin Blakley. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to her precious church family at School Creek Baptist Church, 11228 CR 3420 Lampasas, TX, 76550. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Compassus Hospice Service, School Creek Baptist Church, Sneed Funeral Chapel, and a multitude of family and friends. Sherri Jo was blessed with love and friendship from many people and the family feels so blessed to have received that same love throughout her life and after.
