Sharon Sue Donnelly-Hamilton stepped out of the shadow of this life and into God's eternal light on March 17, 2025, at Caraday Nursing Home in Lampasas, TX. She was born on August 6, 1944, to George and Lelah Mae Donnelly.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26, at 10:30 am at the North Belton Cemetery, 1500 N. Main St,. Belton, TX.
Sharon is dearly loved by her family and friends, and she will be missed. She lived most of her life in Belton, she raised her kids, took care of her family, opened and ran a secondhand store, and for many years worked and then retired from K-Mart. Sharon loved to go to garage sales and flea markets and to restore old furniture and items she found on the side of the road. Sharon was good with tools and remodeled all of the houses she lived in to make them uniquely her home. She loved to cook and spend time with her family. Sharon was a Christian, and we know that she is in Heaven with God and all her family who passed before her.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lelah Mae Donnelly, her ex-husband, William "Bill" Hamilton, her daughter, Cami Hamilton, her sons, Lee Hamilton and Bill Hamilton, Jr, and her brothers, Robert Donnelly and Michael Donnelly.
She is survived by her brothers, Ronald Donnelly and Daniel Donnelly; her son, Mark Cartwright and his wife Chasity; grandchildren, Ashlie DeFraties and husband Kyle, Samantha Sawyer and husband Blake, Morgan Shine and husband David, Justin Sultenfuss, Shane Cartwright, Keith Cartwright; great-grandchildren, Cedric Wayne DeFraties, Sage Ann DeFraties, Sara Beth Sawyer, Hensley Elizabeth Shine and numerous nieces, nephews and many other relatives.
