Sfc Michael Wojciechowski, Usa, Ret.

Michael "Mickey" Wojciechowski, age 62 of Copperas Cove passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2018. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 3, 2018, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Copperas Cove with burial following at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5-6:30 followed by a Rosary at Scott's Funeral Home in Copperas Cove.

Mickey was born on April 7, 1956, in Buffalo, NY to the late Leo and Delores Gaczewski Wojciechowski. Following his high school graduation in 1975, Mickey joined the United States Army and served for 22 years before retiring while at Fort Hood. He was proud to have served during Desert Storm. After his military retirement, he worked for TxDOT for 12 years and at the range out on Fort Hood. Mickey married Beverly Czerminski on October 8, 1983, in Buffalo, NY. Mickey enjoyed bowling, was active in Holy Family Catholic Church and currently serving as the Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus #6658.

Mickey is survived by his wife of 34 years, Beverly Wojciechowski; daughter, Stacy Wojciechowski; son, Scott Wojciechowski and wife, Courtney; step-mother, Nikaline Wojciechowski; brothers, Jimmy Wojciechowski and wife, Jang, Br. Maximillian Wojciechowski; sister, Diane Wojciechowski; grandchildren, Travis Seidel, Logan and Lydia Wojciechowski; nieces, Jessika and Jasmin Wojciechowski, Nicole Czerminski and his only brother-in-law, Gary Czerminski and wife, Gabrielle.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been requested to be directed to the family to help with final expenses.
