Sarah Lee Douglas

September 11, 1926 — April 30, 2020

Sarah Lee (Chandler) Douglas went to be with her Heavenly Father on April 30, 2020. She was born Sept 11, 1926. Sarah Lee was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She wrote the alma mater for Corpus Christi High School, served as president of the Republican Women's Club and was honored by Governor Rick Perry for her many years of service as a hospital volunteer. She is loved and will be missed by her daughter, Dianne (Douglas) Harvey and her husband Beau of Spicewood, her grandsons Tony Johnson of San Antonio and Coy Harvey of Colorado, Paul Page Douglas IV of Corpus Christi, John Douglas and wife Macy of Austin, and her granddaughters Paige (Douglas) Shelton and husband Rusty of Spicewood, Joanne (Foxx) Thomas and her husband Michael of Dripping Springs and Leanne (Foxx) Chavez of Belton as well as numerous great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mary Alice (DuBois) and "Doc" Chandler of Corpus Christi, her husband Ret. Brigadier General Paul Page Douglas Jr., her son Paul Page Douglas III and daughter Suzanne (Douglas) Foxx Browder. Burial is Tuesday May 5, 2020 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
