Rosemarie Foote

Rosemarie Schriener Foote, 92,  passed away In Gatesville,  Texas on 11/22/2019. She was born in Bamberg, Germany to parents Heinrich and Anna Schriener on January 26, 1927. Rosemarie was educated as a Registered nurse and Dental assistant. She met her future husband, Theo T. Foote at Warner Barracks, United States Army Military Base in Bamberg, Germany. She was a Dental assistant there. They were married on December 15th, 1946 and were married for 73 years.  Rosemarie loved her God, country, husband and four children with equal fervor, she never wavered. She was the consummate military wife. When Ted would come home with a new base assignment she would buckle down and break out the suitcases. Her most favorite assignment was the "Great Place" Fort Hood, Texas. She couldn't have been more proud of any installation.  Rosemarie loved the people of Lampasas, Texas where she and Ted made their home for 54 years. Rosemarie is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, a sister Gunda Jahrling, son Glenn Foote and Grandson Kyle Foote. She is survived by sister Lilo Hildner of Bamberg, Germany, daughter Norma Blake of Gatesville, Texas, son Terry Foote of Conroe, Texas and son Earl Foote of Houston, Texas. She had four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.     Visitation is Friday December 13, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Funeral service is Saturday December 14, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Foote’s body will be cremated.
