Ronnie Smith, 62, of Copperas Cove, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2015. No services are scheduled at this time.
Ronnie was born on September 6, 1953 in California to the late Othel Davis and Margie Burson Smith. He graduated from Copperas Cove High School in 1971. After high school he joined the United States Navy. Ronnie served his country for 22 years retiring in 1992.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Marie Smith; sister, Patsy Neiman; brother, Billy Joe Smith and nephews, Robert Lee Spensser and Othel Davis Smith, III.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Betty Smith; children, LeeAnn Smith, Joseph Smith, Jason Smith and Michael Smith; step-son, Skip Wingo; siblings, Dorothy Hill, Othel Smith and wife, Merle, Pam Spensser, Keith Smith and wife, Jessica; grandchildren, Sophia and Isbella Wingo and numerous nieces, nephews and close friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. Scott’s Funeral Home of Copperas Cove is in charge of arrangements.
