Romelia Estrada

Romelia Estrada, age 87, of Kempner, was reunited with her husband Luis, on the afternoon of November 2, 2022.

Graveside services will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Kempner City Cemetery, Kempner, TX. Visitation with the family will be from 5-7 pm, Monday, November 7, 2022, at Viss Family Funeral Home, Copperas Cove, TX.

Born June 8, 1935, to Laureano Isla and Ysolina Busot, in Matanzas, Cuba.

Romelia entered the bond of matrimony with Luis Estrada on September 20, 1952.  Despite hardships and circumstances, she traveled to the United States with her young family in 1970.

Romelia was a true godly woman and faithful believer, a loving wife, and a faithful devoted mother raising her children in the fear of God.

Romelia is survived by her loving family: sister, Dulce Isla; brothers, Miguel Isla and Roberto Isla; children Lydda, Carlos, Marta, Joel, and Olga; grandchildren,  Derek, Michael, Abiel, Delci, Esteban, Eric, Misael, Jessica, Janell, Joey, Melody, Karla, Priscilla, Rebecca, and Patricia; and many, many great-grandchildren.
