Roland Jack Sickles

Roland Jack Sickles, 88, of Lampasas, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022. Services will be held at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen at a later date. Roland was born on September 25, 1934, in Elmira, NY, and grew up there. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean and Vietnam Wars and retired after many years of faithful service at the rank of Sergeant First Class. Roland also enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters. Survivors include his sons, Bill Sickles and Janelle, John Sickles, Bobby Sickles, and wife Suellen; daughter, Mary Woodard, and sisters, Claudia and Beverly.
