Robert Preston Hamilton

Robert Preston Hamilton, 47 of Blanket, TX died September 13, 2017 at his home. Robert was born January 19, 1970 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Roscoe Hamilton and Freda Sue (Gayheart) Hamilton. He grew up in Ohio and moved to Arizona in his early teens. Robert joined the USMC after high school graduation and served proudly for 8 years. His duty stations included; North Carolina, Desert Storm and California.   Survivors include: Wife, Dorothy Hamilton of Blanket Mother, Freda Sue Gayheart of Lampasas 2 sons; Robert Preston Hamilton Jr. (Julia) Cody Allen Hamilton (Ashley) Sister, Ramona Green Nephews; Jeffrey Scott Gilseth (Maria), Travis Wade Gilseth (Tina) Step-sons; Joe Woodson Jr., Joseph Vinson, Clayton Vinson Uncle Paul Hamilton (Deloris) Cousins; Ruby and Homer, Chris and Tony, Herbert and Chris, Merilee and Larry, Trish and Randolph, Glen 6 great nieces and nephews and a number of other relatives also survive.   Robert was preceded in death by his father, by grandparents; Preston and Cora Hamilton and by Jack and Edna Gayheart, by nephew, Virgil Dean Gilseth and by brother, Virgil Dean Hamilton.   Visitation will be 2 p.m. Saturday September 16, 2017 at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Funeral service at 3 p.m. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery with military honors.
