SSG, RETIRED ARE SCHEDULED FOR 12P.M., WEDNESDAY AT THE SHEPPARD CHAPEL OF MEMORIES, WITH STEVE MOLTON, CHAPLAIN WILLIAM MARTIN AND CARL DAWSON OFFICIATING. VISITATION WILL BE TUESDAY FROM 2-4 P.M., AND 6-8P.M., AT THE FUNERAL HOME. BURIAL WILL FOLLOW AT 2P.M., AT THE CENTRAL TEXAS STATE VETERANS CEMETERY. WITH FULL MILITARY HONORS. MR. DAWSON PASSED AWAY FEBRUARY 21, 2010 AT THE HILLCREST BAPTIST MEDICAL CENTER IN WACO. HE WAS BORN JANUARY 22, 1936 IN DEFIANCE, OHIO TO THE UNION OF OSCAR F. DAWSON AND GOLDIA V. RELYEA. HE ATTENDED ABUNDANT�LIFE CHURCH OF GOD IN KILLEEN, TX. HE�ATTENDED AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL FFAA IN OKLAHOMA CITY, OK AND ALSO ARTILARY SURVEY SCHOOL IN FORT SILL, OKLAHOMA.�� HIS MEDALS INCLUDED, NATIONAL DEFENSE SERVICE MEDAL, VIETNAM SERVICE MEDAL W/ 2 BRONZE SERVICE STARS; VIETNAM CAMPAIGN MEDAL; GOOD CONDUCT MEDAL WITH CLASP, SILVER; EXPERT (RIFLE); CROSS OF GALLANTRY WITH PALM. SURVIVED BY WIFE, ETHEL DAWSON OF COPPERAS COVE, TEXAS DAUGHTER, JULIE AND HUSBAND MARK WOLKE OF ADA,�OHIO SON, RONALD AND WIFE KATHY DAWSON OF KENTON, OHIO SON, JEFFREY AND WIFE JENNIFER DAWSON OF LIMA, OHIO SON, ROB O.�DAWSON, JR.
