Richard Marlin Brice

Richard Marlin “Bull” Brice, age 70 of Copperas Cove, Texas, passed away November 11, 2017 in Temple, Texas following a long illness. He was born November 13, 1946 in Huntsville, Texas to Grover M. Brice and Hazel M. Petty.   Richard is preceded in death by his parents, wife of 36 years Marlene “Marti” Eisenach, son, Cody Brice, one grandson Seth Brice.   He is survived by his step-mother, Gale Brice of Oakwood, Texas; two daughters, Shannette Brice Stanley, husband  Russell of Clute, Texas and Brandi Brice-Wolfe and friend Milo Green of Copperas Cove, Texas; two step brothers, Jimmy Williams, wife Sally of Maybank, Texas and David Lathrop, wife Alexis of Grand Prairie, Texas; one step-sister Cynthia Minter and husband Joe of Oakwood, Texas. Three grand children; Cheyenne Lathrop, Justin Brice and Cordell Brice all of Copperas Cove, Texas. One great grandson, Seth Brice of Lampasas, Texas.   Richard served in the United States Air Force in Denver, Colorado during the Vietnam era.  He  an over the road driver for many years, many time his family was with him, enjoying the beautiful countryside.   Spending time with his fellow veterans at the VFW and riding motorcycles and spending time with his grandchildren were some of his favorite pastimes.   Memorial visitation will be Friday Dec 1st from 6 to 8 PM at Sneed Funeral Home in Lampasas, Texas and then on December 2nd from 12 to 4 PM at VFW Post 3892, 201 VFW Drive, Harker Heights, Texas 76548.
