Ray Mathews

Ray Dale Mathews, age 61, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2016 in Florence. Graveside Services will be 2:00 PM on Saturday, August, 27, 2016 at Garden of Memories Cemetery next to Calvary Baptist Church south of Killeen.
Ray was born on June 12, 1955 to Delmer and Doris Oliver Mathews in Brownwood, Texas. In 1966, his family moved to Killeen and he graduated from Killeen High School in 1973. Ray will be remembered for his artist side and his ability to make just about anything. He loved to hunt, fish and work in his garden.
Ray is survived by his sons, Sean Mathews and wife, Tonya, Chris Mathews and wife, Candy; parents, Delmer and Doris Mathews; two brothers, Chad Mathews, Greg Mathews and wife, Charlotte; and five grandchildren, Jordan, Weston, Loren, Colby, and Kearstin.
