Randy Smith

Randy D. Smith, age 62, of Copperas Cove passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Scott’s Funeral Home of Copperas Cove. His cremains will be placed at a later date with his parents at Harmony Ridge Cemetery in San Saba, Texas.

Randy was born on August 27, 1954 to the late Lloyd and Laverne Felps Smith. He graduated from Lampasas High School in 1972. He owned a remodeling business in the Lampasas area before joining the Wal-Mart family. He was employed with Wal-Mart the past 15 years and was in charge of maintenance at the Copperas Cove store. In his spare time he loved to recycle and was a friend to so many. He would run errands and even mow his friend’s lawns never expecting anything in return.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents.

Randy is survived by his step-daughter, Jennifer Tingle; cousin, Gerald Hubbert, Louis Hubbert, Terry Harris, and Belinda Harris and a host of friends and his Wal-Mart family.
