Ramona "Mona Mae" Lopez, age 18, of Copperas Cove passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 5, 2017, at Scott's Funeral Home of Copperas Cove with burial following at the Copperas Cove City Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 5-6 pm at the funeral home and a time of sharing our memories from 6-7 PM.
Mona Mae was born on March 12, 1999, to Gabriel and Mira Miears Lopez in Killeen, Texas. She graduated from Copperas Cove High School in 2017. Mona Mae was active with S.M.I.L.E. in Copperas Cove and was a bowler with Special Olympics in Central Texas. She loved swimming and hanging out with her family.
Mona Mae is survived by her parents, Gabriel and Mira Lopez; sister, Rachel Lyn Wilson and husband, Thomas; grandparents, Ramona Lopez, Miles and Shirley Miears; nieces, Paislee and Emma Mae Wilson and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who loved her.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to S.M.I.L.E at the National United Bank.
