Peggy Robinson

Peggy J. Robinson, age 83, of Copperas Cove, passed away on July 11, 2019, surrounded by her family. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at Victory Baptist Church, 502 W. Bus 190 in Copperas Cove. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at 2:00 pm at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park in Burnet.

Peggy was born on June 18, 1936, in Ft. Worth, Texas to the late Leslie and Morine Hemby Sullivan. She attended school in Fort Worth and married Richard Mickey Robinson on May 23, 1953. At the time she had no idea she was marrying a soon to be preacher. She very quickly grew to love her role as a preacher’s wife and became a trusted counselor. She was a piano player, an avid seamstress, and a Sunday School teacher. Peggy devoted her life to the Lord.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and a twin sister.

Peggy is survived by her husband of 66 years, Mickey Robinson; children, Glenda Hillyer and husband, David, Richard M. Robinson and wife, Donna, Karen Johnson and husband, Dave; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the building fund at Victory Baptist Church, 502 W. Bus 190, Copperas Cove, Texas 76522.
