Patricia Lou Lund

Patricia Lou (Shea) Lund, 81, of Kempner, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on Friday, February 11, 2022, at 11 am with a visitation an hour prior.  Interment will follow at Kempner Cemetery.

Pat was born on October 29, 1940, in Goffstown, NH.  She was not only a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, but a true friend to all.  Anyone could come to her and just talk and the ease of saying anything without judgment, but sincere love and understanding.  She gave her life for her children and sacrificed everything for them.  She was always taking care of the grandchildren and had a sincere bond with them all.  Family was her life and she loved when they came to visit.

She loved life, outdoors, gardening her flowers and vegetables, fishing, traveling, sunshine, wind in her face, and the soil between her fingers.  The ocean was also her love, sand between her toes and walking the waterline and the beautiful sunset over the ocean.  Sewing, quilting, cross-stitching, crocheting, and any craft she enjoyed.  

It was nothing for her to get up before dawn and head to the lake with her pole and bait and tackle box in hand.  She never went without pork rinds, bubble gum, and coffee.  She could catch crappie fish better than anyone!  Nobody else would get a bite, but she always caught enough to feed the family.  She would always take the grandbabies and great-grandbabies to the garden to pick vegetables and pull weeds.  Sometimes the grandkids would pull vegetable plants and show them to grandma and instead of being upset, she would show them how to replant and water them.  

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Rosie Carpenter and Nancy Simard.

Survivors include her husband, Henry J. Lund; children, Wendy Tyler, Kim Ross, David Lemmon, Amy Shea, Mandy Lund; grandchildren, Harry Mellon III, Quentin Mellon, Cassie Peters, Shea Howard, Patrick Mellon, Colt Lemmon, Michael Bellan, Emma Lemmon, Ashton Lemmon, Sam Lund, Nathanial Mellon, Jason Mellon, Jordan Mellon, AnnaBell Mellon, Elizabeth Mellon; great-grandchildren, Harry Mellon IV, Madison Peters, Brenley Peters, Lilah Peters, Braxton Mellon, Brock Mellon, Emma Bellan, Erlick Jr. Howard, Bryannah Howard, Malcolm Howard, Sam Shea, Avery Shea, Siobhan Shea, Angelina Lund, Brian Lund, Adrian Lund, Madison Lund, Payton Lund; siblings, Perly Wheeler, Jr, David Wheeler, Raymond Wheeler, Garry Wheeler, Darlene Wheeler, and Donna Floyd.
