Patricia Marie Hogan, born on January 1, 1949, in St. Louis, Missouri, peacefully passed away on October 10, 2024. She leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished by her beloved family and friends.
A dedicated and accomplished nurse, Patricia worked over 40 years in various nursing fields, touching countless lives through her compassionate care. She held a Bachelor’s in Nursing and Master’s degree in public health with an unyielding passion for helping others that inspired all who knew her. Her commitment extended beyond the hospital, as she volunteered with numerous organizations, schools, and health initiatives throughout her life, embodying the spirit of service.
Patricia was known as a force of nature, always ready for lively debates where her sharp intellect shone through. Coupled with her beautiful sense of humor, she had a remarkable ability to light up any room. Her laughter and zest for life were infectious, drawing her close friends and family together in joyful camaraderie. She relished spending time with loved ones and had many close friends whom she cherished as family.
An adventurous spirit, Patricia loved exploring nature, studying plants and animals, and embarking on various pursuits she fondly called "adventures." She enjoyed traveling and creating lasting memories, always accompanied by her beloved dog, Danny Boy, whom she cared for deeply.
Patricia is survived by her devoted son, Andrew Weaver; daughter-in-law, Stacy Tomblin-Weaver; granddaughter, Riley Tomblin; grandson, Dean Weaver; and her eight siblings: Eileen Krahman, Daniel Hogan, Susan Buydos, Timothy Hogan, Marylee Rowlett, Thomas Hogan, Julie Pickering, and Tracy Knoll. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.
Patricia was predeceased by her son, Neil Weaver; her brother, Terrance Hogan; and her parents, Patricia Hogan and Daniel Hogan.
The family will honor Patricia’s life with a funeral service on October 15, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Copperas Cove Location in Copperas Cove, Texas. Reception to follow at 1812 Bowen Ave. Through her indomitable spirit and unwavering love, Patricia Marie Hogan will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
