Patricia Childs age 72 of Copperas Cove, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2016 in Temple.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday at Scott's Funeral Home Chapel in Copperas Cove.
Mrs. Childs was born on August 14, 1943 in Charleston, West Virginia. She was the daughter of the late John and Rhoda Chapman Otey. She grew up in Charleston, WV. She married Lee Childs on December 2, 1960. They moved to Copperas Cove in 1981. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Copperas Cove.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Childs on May 3, 2012.
She is survived by her husband, Lee Childs; daughters, Lisa Bishop, Rhonda Gilmore and husband, David; son, Terry Childs and wife, Edith; brothers, Donald Otey and George Otey; seven grandchildren, Garrett, Paige, Juliet, Jeff, Joshua, Timothy and Zachary; and two great-grandchildren, Mackenzi and Hayden Gilmore.
