Pamela F. Varney

Pamela Francine Varney, 83 of Lampasas, Texas died Saturday November 16, 2019 at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Temple. She was born August 30, 1936 in Kempner, Texas to parents George Hughes and Saba (Hale) Hughes (along with twin sister Pansy). She grew up in the area and graduated from Lampasas High School. She met Ronald C. Varney in Lampasas, while he was stationed at Camp Hood and they were married February 19, 1956. Mrs. Varney was a homemaker and she also had cared for many young children as their babysitter. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Lampasas. Pam is survived by son, Shane Varney and wife Crystal 2 daughters, Sabrina Angermann and husband Tim Stacia Smith and husband Stacy 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren 2 sisters Pansy Urofsky (twin) Quieta Kattner Brother, Quentin Hughes and wife Derlice   Pam was preceded in death by her parents, by husband Ronald C. Varney   Funeral service will be Wednesday November 20, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Lampasas. Burial will follow in Kempner Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel.   Memorials may be sent to the charity of your choice.
