Nora Faye Daniell was born in Briggs, Texas on November 24, 1932, the youngest child of George Sebern Daniell and Pebble Fisher Daniell. She graduated from Briggs School in 1951. Nora then became an LVN, the beginning of a career that included OR and clinical nursing services that spanned over three decades. On February 28, 1959, Nora became the bride of Jack LaVaughan Patterson, also of Briggs. They were blessed with two sons, Marcus LaVaughan Patterson on July 6, 1960 and James Lee Patterson on April 6, 1966. They loved nothing more than spending time with their family and friends, often over a game of 42–following a feast that Nora had prepared. They were married until Jack's death on February 9, 2017. Nora left her earthly life on July 9, 2020 at the Bertram Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Bertram, Texas at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by husband, her parents, and siblings George Vernon Daniell, Lucille Daniell Guess, and Zula Daniell Wilson. She is survived by son Marcus and wife Judy of Lometa, Texas, son James of Leander, Texas, grandson Mark Lee Patterson of Grand Forks, North Dakota, granddaughter Lora Ann Patterson of Stephenville, Texas, grandson Jesse Roy Patterson, also of Stephenville, Texas, and her little dog, Charlie. Nora is also survived by nephews Barry Wilson and wife Eva of Houston, Texas and Steve Wilson and wife Suzy of Lake Jackson, Texas, as well as several cousins and great-nieces and great-nephews. Memorials can be made to the Briggs Baptist Church. Viewing is available Monday July 13, 2020 from 1-5 pm. At Sneed Funeral Chapel. Private graveside will be at Prairie View Cemetery. The family will receive friends when a public service is allowed.
