Nora McBeth, 85, of Topsey, passed away in Gatesville on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at Laural Land Memorial Park in Dallas. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Monday at Scott's Funeral Home of Copperas Cove.
Nora was born on July 3, 1931, to the late Benjamin and Ola Rhodes Gray in Welock, Texas. She lived there until moving to Grand Prairie before she married Buck McBeth on April 27, 1954, in Garland, Texas. After Buck completed his time with the US Army they moved to Copperas Cove. Later they built a home together in the Topsey area where they lived for over 50 years.
Nora was preceded in death by her husband; brother, Edwin Gray, Marvin Gray, Bobby Gray, Archie Rhodes; daughter, Patricia Ann McBeth; and son, Norman Craig McBeth.
Nora is survived by her children, Tommy Glen McBeth, Beckie Ann McBeth Perry, Betty Jean Moore; grandchildren, Patrick Craig McBeth, Shannon Nicole McAaron, Rebekah Nicole Perry; sister, Addie Fay Salisbury and a brother, Merle Gray.
