Myra Mauser

Myra Mauser, age 75, passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at her home in Killeen surrounded by her family. A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

Myra was born on April 8, 1945, in Collinsville, IL, and was raised by John and Lenora Mauser. She attended school in Belleville Town West, Il. Myra was married at an early age and had five children. She lived in Illinois, Alabama, Mississippi, and finally settling in Texas. In her spare time, she loved to read, cook for her family, travel, and to keep up with her daytime stories. Myra was a very caring and loving person, always looking for ways to help others. She had a love for animals and enjoyed the beauty of flowers.

Myra was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Daniel Ayres; one brother, and three sisters.

Myra is survived by Joan Hastings and husband, Paul, Linda Hamilton and husband, Duane, Steve Ayres and wife, Linda, Edward Ayres and wife, Kristen; daughter-in-law, Kim Ayres; one brother; one sister; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to St. Jude Children's Reseach Hospital .
