Myong Finney

Myong Hwa Finney, age 74, of Copperas Cove, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2020. A Memorial Graveside Service will be held at a later date at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.

Myong was born in North Korea and marched to South Korea during the Korean Conflict. Myong married John Finney on March 20, 1978, in South Korea. She supported her husband as he served in the United States Army. After his retirement, they settled in Copperas Cove. Myong took pride in raising her family. She was a seamstress that worked at home so that she could be with her kids.

Myong was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and her husband.

Myong is survived by her daughters, Kelly Hester and husband, Henry, Sharon Finney, Sarol Finney and husband, Matt George; and four grandchildren, Kathryn, Robert, Aubrey, and Jordan.
