Earl Reeves, age 76, of Kempner passed away at home on Monday, June 10, 2019. Memorial Graveside will be held at 9:00 am, Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery and a memorial gathering will be from 5-7 pm, Monday, June 17, 2019, at Scott's Funeral Home of Copperas Cove.
Earl was born in Breckenridge, Texas to Earl and Anne Mae Babek Reeves, Sr. on September 2, 1942. He graduated from Ranger High School in 1962. After high school, he joined the United States Air Force and served for 27 years. While serving in Korea, he met Hwa Cho and they married on May 17, 1971. Their life in the military took them many places. After retiring from the service, they settled in Kempner. Earl worked for a number of years on Fort Hood at the service center and he also worked at the Kempner Post Office as a rural route mail carrier. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, taking photos, working in the yard and spending time with his beloved dogs. He will be remembered as a devoted husband and a loving father.
Earl is survived by his wife, Cho Reeves; children, David Reeves and wife, Lynn, Steven Reeves and wife, Leandra, Cynthia Reeves; brother, Jerry Reeves; six grandchildren, Savannah, Cameron, Logan, Mason, Josie, and Kerri.
