Minnie Lee Tucker

Minnie L. (Williams) Tucker, 83 of Lampasas, TX died Thursday March 8, 2018 at Austin Heart. Minnie was born November 27, 1934 in Navasota, TX the daughter of Thomas Clifton Williams Sr. and Minnie Ida (Meohwald) Williams. She married Dr.Jon Franklin Tucker July 10, 1953 and had lived in Lampasas for many years. Minnie worked for League City Schools and later for Floyd West Co. She worked for many years as the secretary for the Director of Special Education for Lampasas ISD. She loved visiting with her neighbors. She loved her dog Max. She is survived by 2 daughters; Danielle Tucker Shepard (Allen) Lianne Weigand (Tom) 3 sisters; Fran Letsinger (Bill) Gayle Smith (Lyndon) Gloria Powell (Darrell) Numerous nieces and nephews and their families as well Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and by 2 brothers, T.C. Williams Jr. and Larry Williams   A visitation will be held at 2 pm Monday March 12, 2018 at Sneed Funeral Chapel, funeral service begins at 3 pm. Burial will be Tuesday at 1 pm at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery on Houston, TX.   Memorials may be sent to First United Methodist Church in Lampasas, TX or the American Heart Association.
