Robert Michael Aaron, Sr., 73, passed away on January 6, 2025, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas. He was born on May 11, 1951, in Monroe, Louisiana to Audley and Margaret Aaron.
Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church Lampasas, 402 S. Key Ave., at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2025, with visitation an hour prior. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.
Mike grew up in Ruston, Louisiana. He graduated from Ruston High School in 1969. After high school, he attended Louisiana Tech in Ruston where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business. He then began working for United Gas Pipeline as an accountant and worked for various companies in the Oil & Gas Industry until his retirement in 2014.
Mike married Tracey Stephens in 1977, in Houston, Texas. They were happily married for 47 years. Mike was a member of First Baptist Church, Lampasas. He enjoyed singing in the choir, all sports, and being outside working with his hands.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Audley and Margaret Aaron, and his siblings, Len and John Aaron.
Mike is survived by his spouse, Tracey of Lampasas, Texas; his sons, Michael (Carrie) and Stephen (Katherine); his daughter, Elise (Richard) Conner; his brother, Syd (Judy) Aaron; his sisters, Sylvia (Wayne) Caraway and Martha (Kevin) Bright; his granddaughter, Presley Conner, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
