Michele Lee

Michele M. Lee, age 73, of Copperas Cove, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2020. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery with Father Patrick Ebner officiating. Visitation will be from 5-6 PM with a Rosary at 6 PM on Monday, July 27, 2020 at Scott’s Funeral Home of Copperas Cove.

Michele was born on April 14, 1947 to the late Bernard and Esther Malinowshi Roossien in Grand Rapids, MI. She attended Catholic School in Grand Rapids and graduated in 1965. In 1975, she moved to Texas. She married Donald Lee on March 29, 1980 at Fort Hood. Michele worked as a bookkeeper in Civil Service for over 20 years. She loved to travel, particularly on Holy Pilgrimages. Michele visited the Vatican several times. Michele was involved in many activities at Holy Family Catholic Church including teaching.

Michele was preceded in death by her husband, Don Lee.

Michele is survived by her sons, Todd Porter and wife, April, Chad Porter and wife, Cindy, and Dennis Lee; siblings, Doug, Diane, Greg, Randy, Robin; grandchildren, Cierra, Desirae, and Sylvia.

The family of Michele Lee wished to extend our sincere thanks to all of her friends and fellow parishioners of Holy Family Catholic Church. The joy she found in her faith and in and her friends meant the world to her. Special thanks to Fred and Mary Doak and Sylvia Bonilla for all their support during this very difficult year.
