Michael Melton

Michael “Mike” Melton, age 68, died Thursday, June 1, 2017. Graveside Services will be held at 9:00 am, Monday, June 5, 2017, at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

Mike was born January 20, 1949, in Springfield, Missouri.  He served in the United States Army and was last stationed at Fort Hood.  Upon his honorable discharge, Mike resided near Copperas Cove until his passing.  He owned a service station and worked as a mechanic for most of his life.

Mike was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Hamm Melton.

He is survived by his two daughters and their husbands, Melody and Jeff Alexander of Richardson, Marcy and Clay Erwin of Lubbock, three grandchildren, and a host of other relatives.
