Mary Sadaway

Maura (Mary) Elizabeth Sadaway of Copperas Cove, Texas passed on February 19, 2015 at Copperas Cove Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Copperas Cove, Texas at the age of 81.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 PM on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Copperas Cove with burial following at 2 PM at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. Visitation will be at Scott’s Funeral Home of Copperas Cove from 5-6 PM Wednesday with a Rosary at 6 PM.

Maura was born on February 6, 1934 in Howth, Ireland to Kathleen Nilland and Cyrl Doyle.  She sang in the Catholic Church choir from an early age.  Maura was in many singing competitions over the years in the United Kingdom and Ireland.  She sang with a band and continued to enjoy singing all her life.  She married her husband Joe Sadaway on August 10, 1973.

Maura was preceded in death by her parents, Kathleen and Cyrl Doyle, her brother, Frank; and loving husband, Joe.

Maura is survived by twin sisters, Sheila and Anna of London, England; sisters, Patricia of Longwood, Florida, Betty of Howth, Ireland; and her brothers, Brian, Brendan, and Paul Doyle of Howth, Ireland.
