Mark Burl Harper, Jr., 84, of Killeen, TX / Duncan, OK, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 15, 2021, at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas.

Mark was born in Pampa, Texas to Mark Burl Harper, Sr. and Ora Lee Florence Harper on September 7, 1937. He attended school at Lefors.  He married Barbara Tillman and celebrated 64 wonderful years together. He worked for Skelly-Getty-Texaco Oil Companies.

He was a veteran and served in the Air Force. He was a 52-year Master Mason.  He loved to dance, fish, hunt, golf, visiting with friends and family.  He was loved by all who met him.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Mark Burl Harper, Sr. and Ora Lee Florence Harper.

Mark is survived by his wife, Barbara Harper; children, Bill and Cheri Harper, Cheryl Wood and Robert Harper; sister, Mary Lou Enloe; grandchildren, Amber and Oscar Valeriano, Kevin and Kristen Harper, Andy and Tanya Warren, Matthew and Nicole Wood, Jeremy and Nikki Wood, Stephen Wood, and Justin Harper; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

The family of Mark wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all the Veterans, friends, extended family members, and healthcare workers.
