Margarita Ponce

Margarita Ponce "Troublemaker", 75, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.  She was born on March 3, 1948, in Mexico City, Mexico.

Services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel Lampasas on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at 11 am with a visitation an hour prior.  Interment will be private.

Margarita was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed crossword puzzles, sewing and going to any and every garage sale she could.  She also liked to tend to her plants and flowers and was extremely social.  She enjoyed being around people and talking to anyone who would listen.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Hortencia Garcia and her daughter, Ruth Ponce.

Survivors include her daughters, Elizabeth Escobar and husband Alberto, Christina Ponce; her son, David Ponce and wife Dulce; her sister, Santa Morgan; grandchildren, Aimee, Andrea, Ruth, Brissia, Rosa, Desiree, Humberto, Sebastian and Yara; great-grandchildren, Jonah, Lyra, Anais, Elena and Liliana.
