Marcella Lyle

On Friday February 14, 2020, Marcella Lyle, loving Mother, passed away at age 71. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama to James Wilson Bandy and Dimples (Way) Bandy. She grew up in Alabama and attended UAB and earned a nursing degree. Her daughter was born in 1970. She met Jimmy Lyle in Austin and they married in Brady, Texas. Marcella was a diverse person, having worked in several professional career fields, including nursing and real estate. She was passionate about animals and especially saving small dogs that needed a home. She is survived by her Daughter, Marjorie(Maggie) Ross Brother, Way Bandy and wife Nancy Nephews; Kyle and Way Bandy Jr. Niece, Andrea Perez She was preceded in death by husband Jimmy Lyle in March 2019. A visitation will be held at Sneed Funeral Chapel on Wednesday March 4, 2020 at 5:00 p.m., with service to follow at 6:00 p.m. Brother Gary Edmonds officiating. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Lampasas Animal Shelter, 301 College Street, Lampasas, Texas 76550, or the Glioblastoma Foundation.
