Manuela Salas Guerra Albiter

Manuela Salas Guerra Albiter, 96, of Lampasas, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

The Rosary will be recited at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel Lampasas on Tuesday, March 11, at 6 p.m., with visitation to follow until 8 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 12, at 9 a.m. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Manuela was born in Odem, TX to Manuel and Margarita Salas.  For many years, she owned and operated a restaurant in Lamesa.  When she moved to Lampasas, she became very involved at St. Mary's Catholic Church and was a devoted parishioner, serving in various capacities.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Felix Guerra and Leoncio Albiter, her son, Felix Guerra, Jr., and her daughter, Margarita Guerra Valles, as well as her siblings, George Salas, Mike Salas, and Feliciana.

Survivors include her daughters Mary Ybarra, Juanita Ibarra, and Teresa Sanchez and her husband Arthur; her brother Roberto Salas and wife Dolores; her sisters Elida Cadena, Josefina Contreras, and Margarita Garcia and husband Emilio; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren.
