Maggie Gandy

Magileen Gandy, 64 of Lampasas, Texas died Sunday morning February 24, 2019 at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Round Rock. She was born April 23, 1954 in Austin, TX to parents William Barnett Lakey and Annie Bell (Littleton) Lakey. She has been a resident of Lampasas since 1981. She married Steven F. Gandy and had worked at Martin’s Restaurant as a cook for many years and also at the local food plant and the Lampasas Middle School Cafeteria. Maggie enjoyed camping and fishing trips with her family. She is survived by her Husband, Steven F. Gandy Sons; P.J. Stripling, Mark Berryhill and Steven E. Gandy Daughter, Amanda Gauna Sister, Illi Billings Grandchildren; Alyssa, Angel, Dayton, Royce, Monte, Shyan, Wyatt and Ryden.   Maggie was preceded in death by her parents, by brothers, Mac, Hubert and Howard and by sisters, Geneva, Ethel Mae and Mary Jane.   Funeral service will be Wednesday February 27, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday night at from 5 to 7 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel.
