Luz Maria Rodriguez

Luz Maria Rodriguez, 67, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at Ascension Seton Medical Center in Austin, TX.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2021, at Sneed Funeral Chapel, with a prayer service to start at 7:00 p.m.  Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 12, 2021, at Sneed Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Luz was born June 28, 1953, in Mathis, Texas to Julian and Julia Rodriguez and grew up in Mathis, TX.  She married Martin Rodriguez in Belton, TX and they were happily married for 36 years.  She loved to dance and sing and enjoyed spending time with her children, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She spent a good amount of time on Facebook, just to keep up with family and friends.

Luz was preceded in death by her parents, Julian and Julia Rodriguez, and son, Anthony Gutierrez.

Survivors include her husband, Martin Rodriguez; son, Michael Windish, and wife, Cayla, Bobbie Jean Rebando and husband, Rick, Stephanie Menchaca and husband JJ, Melissa Chappell; grandchildren, Ryan Abbott, Brandon Abbott, Jacob Ynfante, Nicholas Ynfante, Grant Windish, Gavin Windish, Tanner Chappell, Bronsen Chappell, Hunter Rebando, Skyler Menchaca, Jersey Menchaca, Raylin Menchaca; great-grandchildren, Parker Abbott, Maddox Abbott; siblings, John Rodriguez, Noemi Torres, Nelda Wilkerson, Ben Rodriguez, Nedelia Fuentas, Norma Gonzales and Natalia Watson.
