Lucy Coonrod, 50, passed away on June 4, 2024, at Advent Health Central Texas Hospital in Killeen, Texas. Lucy was born on April 26, 1974, in Lancaster, South Carolina to Andrew and Judith (McClean) Rowell.

Lucy grew up in Buford, South Carolina. She graduated from Buford High School in Lancaster, South Carolina in 1992. After high school, she pursued a career in paramedicine and nursing.

Lucy married Joseph in 1996 in Lampasas, Texas. They were happily married for 28 years. Lucy enjoyed weaving and taking care of her goats.

Lucy is survived by her spouse, Joseph; her children, Andrew (Kali) Coonrod, Matthew Coonrod, Anna (Nathen) Coonrod, and Luke Coonrod; her grandchildren, Lawrence and Kenzlie and her nieces and other relatives.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Lampasas Humane Society.
